Membership Categories
Youth and High School
This
membership
includes everyone from infant through high
school.
College This
is
available to all
full time students. To qualify you must be able to provide proof of
carrying 12 or more credit hours. College students will receive Adult
Physical membership privileges.
Adult Physical Membership Entitles
you to use of the pool, gyms, Duffy and Acheson fitness centers,
handball/racquetball courts (no court reservation fees), track soap and towel
service, and use of the physical locker room facilities. Your membership
also entitles you to free or reduced price classes.
Family Physical Membership
This
membership includes two adult members and their dependents. This
membership also includes your children attending college full time up to the age
of 25. Benefits included are the same as the Adult Physical membership.
Single Parent Family Membership
This membership is the same as the Family Physical Membership but for one adult
only.
Health Center Memberships
Includes
all the benefits of a Physical Membership plus use of Health
Centers with sauna,
steam room (men’s center only), soap/towel service, fitness equipment, kit
lockers with
overnight storage, and lounge
area with TV. These memberships are available to adults 19 years of age
and older. There are no children allowed in the Health Center locker
rooms.
Family Health Center The
benefits are the same as the Health Center memberships but only adults may use
the Health Center locker rooms. Dependents must use the Physical locker
rooms.
Single Parent Family Health Center Membership This membership is the same as the Family Health Center membership but is for one adult only.
Active Older Adults Individuals 62 years of age or older are eligible for reduced rates. Call the Y for current fees.

Payment Plans and Policies
Annual Payment Full year amount by cash, check, Visa or
MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
Monthly Payment
Down payment followed by
monthly bank drafts through your checking account.
Refund Policy If the YMCA cancels
classes, a refund or program credit will be given. If you leave a program due to
medical reasons, a pro-rated credit (minus a $5 service charge) will be given
toward other YMCA activities upon receipt of a note from your doctor. NO REFUNDS
will be given for memberships. Members who move may request the renewal rate at
another Y.
Get more for your money
If
you decide to join the YMCA during the time you are taking a class as a non-member, you may apply the
difference in member/non-member
fees to your membership fee.
YMCA Commitment
No child shall be denied a membership
due to financial need.
The United Way
and
our annual Invest In Youth Campaign enables the YMCA to provide
financial assistance to those in need.
Your
United Way
gift supports a wide variety of
youth and family programs in the Blue
Water Area.
Scholarships Available
If you know of a child who would benefit from a YMCA membership or program yet cannot afford to pay the whole cost, we can help. It is important that the applicant has financial need and a commitment. YMCA scholarship applications are available at the front desk.
AWAY Program With an AWAY (Always Welcome At YMCAs) sticker on your membership card, you will have access to hundreds of participating YMCAs throughout the USA free or at a reduced rate. Local restrictions do apply.
Rentals The YMCA is available for meetings, parties and overnights. Conference and meeting rooms, swimming pool, gyms, and racquetball courts are available for use.
