BODY COMPOSITION MONDAY
Are you seeing the results you want from your current fitness routine or about to start a new workout? Stop by the Duffy Wellness Center office the first Monday of each month to receive a free 5 minute body composition evaluation. Your confidential printout containing key numbers will help keep you on track to achieving your fitness goals. If you’re ready to take your workout to the next level or looking to establish a fitness plan, consider purchasing a session with one of our Certified Personal Trainers.

INTERNATIONAL LIFEGUARD TRAINING PROGRAM™
The International Lifeguard Training Program™ (ILTP) is a comprehensive Lifeguard Training program designed to promote objective-driven and performance-based training that results in a confident and competent lifeguard. A proactive, accountability-based approach to lifeguard training, ILTP is a single, integrated curriculum that successfully trains lifeguards through proven training methods and state-of-the-art lifeguard rescue skills. Program components include: First Aid, Health Care Provider CPR, Emergency Oxygen Support and Automated External Defibrillation. Using a combination of online and classroom training, the certification will take 22-24 hours.
This program is being offered at the Y in partnership with Jeff Ellis & Associates, the industry leader with an unmatched reputation for aquatic safety since 1983.

FAMILY POOL PARTY
Join us at the Y for a fun, all ages evening of floating and play! This is a family event with a different theme every month. Beach balls and floaties provided - please do not bring any from home. There will be music, water slides and the lazy river!

KIDS NIGHT OUT
Children 6 - 12 are invited to enjoy a night filled with new friends and new games. School age kids will swim, play games, do crafts and participate in fun age-appropriate activities. Kids will receive a light snack and drink.

This is the perfect event for first time triathletes or anyone looking for a new challenge. Unlike a traditional triathlon where competitors swim, bike and run until they reach a set distance, in an indoor triathlon, participants swim, bike and run for a fixed time, trying to complete the greatest distance possible during each event. Each individual will swim, bike and run for 15 minutes each. Teams also are welcome to participate in the triathlon.

GUS MACKER 3 ON 3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Join us for the 2014 Gus Macker 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. The Macker is for everyone with male and female divisions, as well as a junior division for kids ages 10
and under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18. Adult Divisions are 19-24, 25-29, 30-34,

BLUE WATER HALF MARATHON TRAINING PROGRAM
Get ready to cross the finish line of the Blue Water Half Marathon with the Y’s 15-week marathon training program. Fee includes weekly runs on Tuesday & Saturday, Tek training shirt, information focusing on running, injury prevention, proper marathon apparel and nutrition, and a coupon for the Blue Water Half Marathon race entry fee. Runners must be able to run at least 3 miles/day for 10-15 miles a week prior to March 18. The running portion will be outside so dress appropriately. There will be a group meeting on Monday, March 3rd at 6:30pm for those who have questions and want information on the training program.

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION CPR TRAINING
The American Heart Association reports that "about 80% of all out-of-hospital cardiac arrest occur in private residential settings, so being trained to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can mean the difference between life and death for a loved one." CPR saves lives.

HOLIDAY & SNOW CAMP
Kindergarten through 6th grade children can join in the fun here at the Y during school holiday breaks. A full day of activities including swimming, crafts, gym time and snacks are available for Christmas, Records Day, Mid-Winter Break and Spring Break. Bring your swimming suit and lunch. Payment must be made at the time the child arrives at the Y for child care.

SENIOR SUMMER GAMES (Formerly Senior Olympics)
Come join us for a day of fun, fitness and friendly competition. This event is open for all seniors who are residents of St. Clair County or members of the Council on Aging to compete in a fun and exciting environment. The pre-registration deadline is June 6.
