Join a group of parents and caregivers committed to ensuring the well being of the county's youngest children. The Great Start Parent Coalition meets at the Y and works to raise awareness and support for early childhood programming. Parents will stay connected and can chose their level of involvement. FAMILY WELLNESS
Get moving and get healthy while working out as a family! Parents and their 10 – 12 year old children can work out together in the Duffy Wellness Center during special weekend hours. All children must attend an equipment orientation class prior to using the fi tness center. This is a FREE program for Y members only!

AUSTIN MARTINY MEMORIAL SWIMMER SAFETY DAY
The Austin Martiny Memorial Swimmer Safety Day was created to help parents to teach their children about water safety. Children will take part in a 45 minute classroom presentation on water safety and then spend one hour in the pool participating in water safety demonstrations. This is a fun and exciting way to learn swimming and boating safety.

SKIP COMBINED SWIM LESSONS
This class introduces kids 6-36 months old to the aquatic environment. Parents learn basic aquatic safety and have a positive experience with their child in the pool. Kids have fun in the water playing with toys while their parent guides them in learning aquatic skills like kicking and paddling. Swim diaper is required and can be purchased at the front desk. Parental accompaniment in the water is mandatory!
