Serving families has always been at the heart of the Y. We're a place where they can find respite from social, economic and educational challenges, and learn how to overcome them. We have a fundamental desire to provide opportunities for every family to build stronger bonds, achieve greater work/life balance, and become more engaged with their communities.

At the Y, we understand that health begins at home and we support families in their efforts to build the five pillars that support a healthy family home: EAT HEALTHY, PLAY EVERY DAY, GET TOGETHER, GO OUTSIDE and SLEEP WELL. Take small steps using the information and tools we provide and your family will soon be feeling stronger and living healthier.

GET OUT AND MOVE

There are a number of ways to engage in outdoor activity such as using the Blue Water River Walk and other community trails for walking, running and biking, public tennis courts, boating clubs, outdoor fitness parks, local ski hills, cross country skiing trails, mall walking and at-home programs as ways to get active.
